Arsene Wenger Signs Contract Extension At Arsenal to Stay Until 2017

Clearly this is the message from Arsenal owners to the world of loyal Arsenal fans and truth be told, I am sure 98% of them fully support this, especially after the FA Cup 2014 victory. But even as the Barclay’s premier league’s longest running manager, Arsene Wenger more than most knows there is work to be done. One piece of silverware in so many years of missed opportunities will not cut it moving forward. Arsenal now have the taste of victory between their teeth and that is something that cannot be switched off.
Zee Frenchman will have to open his tightly gripped purse this summer to strengthen the squad. I know it, every damn Arsenal supporter and mild fan even our haters know it. The question remains does Arsene Wenger know it? Of course let him tell the story, he has supreme confidence in the current squad and truth be told once more, looking at this past season, Arsenal were a force to be reckoned with. It’s the injuries that let us down and a really bad loan decision in the January transfer window. But that is the past, the season is over, the short break will soon be over an before you know it, the question on everyone’s brain will be “Who will Arsenal sign?”

The clear out has already began at the Emirates, with Lukasz Fabianski leaving for Swansea City. Really wished there was so kinda deal there so that we could get Nathan Dyer at Arsenal. But the FA Cup hero Fabianski was a free agent, so all the best to you. I highly doubt this player will ever be booed on his return to the Emirates stadium.

Anyway this Arsenal FC fan is pleased with the contract extension for Mr Wenger, can’t spell Arsenal without Arsene lol.
