I’m No Angel – Cacique by Lane Bryant

Sitting here on a lazy Sunday morning, afternoon now I guess, watching this show Atlanta Plastic, as the name suggest a plastic surgery based in Atlanta, featuring mainly black folks, a lot of black women that look absolutely fine, but clearly unhappy with themselves and black professional doctors, it’s on Lifetime which I’m sure it’s some kinda man-law violation by anyway I digress.

During the show’s commercial break I see this Dove style, VS style commercial with just fluffy sauce women that immediately peaked my interest. It fully grabbed my attention like those Victoria Secret commercials, I swear it’s the only time I notice skinny vanilla women, it must be those damn wings, it’s weird!! Speaking of Wings, this commercial comes across as a big middle finger up to Victory Secret’s angel line, it’s hilarious….#Pantywars
I’ve been always attracted to a fluffy confident chic, not to be confused with a fat delusional, cries to herself at night behind closed doors chic. I don’t know what it is about underwear commercials that no matter how old you get, boy to a man, they can still grab your attention, maybe it’s a throwback to taking sneak peaks in the underwear catalogs for as a kid for jacking off material, over sharing, yes, but I know I’m not the only one who did this so blah.

Anyway great commercial, when that chocolate thickness with the short hair said “I’m not angel” I did get a stir in the loins. Kudos to the Lane Bryant, bringing the sexy to the bigger women, instead of the typical beige, black and white high tension steel lined, ugly bras and granny full ass coverage draws.

updated 2017 campaign with the oooh so chocolaty Tastee
