Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
As a Paul Rudd fan and someone who thinks he is effortlessly hilarious, I will probably venture out to the cinema to see this film. Although I am sure he will be playing a more “serious” role, cmon it’s Paul Rudd, he’ll have to do something “oh that’s so Paul” at some point during the film. It really looks like marvel will be in full beast mode this year with the comic heroes to big screen movies and although I can’t really claim to be a big fan of comics growing up, lets face it I was more into Penthouse and Playboy mags, I still did see my fair share of these comics and the cartoons growing up.
Judging from the trailer the film looks action packed and moral laced with great CG effects, I’ll probably have to remember not to wear glasses to the cinema, to avoid sitting there for two hours looking stupid with 3d glasses over my regular glasses,
Don’t you hate that?
Anyway that’s all I have to say until i actually see the film……Ant-Man in cinemas July 17th 2015
