I would be ashamed to admit this if, I really gave a shite what some people think. But this tune right here, this Mr. Oizo – Flat beat tune is one of the first CDs I actually ever purchased in my life. To this day I actually take this CD with me when car shopping to test the sound system. The bass from this track gives a great opportunity to test any audio system for that B-line satisfaction. It’s also always entertaining to see the looks on the faces of the car salesmen riding with me. When I drop the CD in and turn up the volume, that facial expression of “what the hell is this?” priceless! I actually forgot to remove the CD while test driving the new Toyota Camry. So I guess the new owners are Atlanta Toyota on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth. Flat Eric was kind of a big deal back in the 90ties. Since all things come back around, I’m sure sooner or later he’ll make an appearance.
