Azealia Banks – Chasing Time

People talk a lot of shit about Azealia Banks, but I like this chic, she reminds me of Skin from Skunk Anansie, different vibes, free spirit, art meets music, zany and a little over the top, something different to the standard negro zone!! Still she seems like an artist that never can get to that point to show her full potential. Like there is something missing. I thought that “beef” with T.I. was a bit suspect. This whole music industry misdirection bullshit beef just to get people bubbling on the social media is so deceptive in it’s marketability and effectiveness it’s insane. It really does make me wonder how many more people became aware of Azealia Banks over that “beef”. But in all fairness she does not really need the “negro zone”, she’s on that EDM, when you have white folks loosing their shit at places like Glastonbury, you’re in a different league anyway.

Now I am not going to sit here an pretend that I am a huge fan, I only became aware of Azealia Banks after listening to a EDM mix on youtube at work and 212 was in the mix, I love that damn song!! it has a kick a bitch in the face beat and she ride it with perfection. So naturally after that track I took to youtube to find more videos and google to get artist info. I think I’ll get that new album Broke with Expensive Taste

I am still waiting to see if her and RiRi will do a track together at some point, I think that collaboration would have great chemistry
