January Transfer Window 2016
January Transfer Window 2016
There’s only one thing better than a new approaching year, well that is, if you are a football fan. On the eve of the highly anticipated 2016 January transfer window, millions around the world will be holding their breaths waiting to see who will be brought in by the clubs they support to add strength to the squads. Many can expect their clubs to splash out big time on players, some even paying over value, some even willing to spend the cash to meet buy-out clauses.
But as an Arsenal fan like myself and millions and millions of Arsenal supporters around the world know, we do not like splashing the cash! Not only do we not splash any cash, we often times let entire transfer windows go buy without a single worthy buy or just one. The last few windows saw us getting Petr ÄŒech, who despite coming from Chelsea has shown he is not well and truly a gunner, bringing his absolute beastmode goalie ability to the emirates stadium. Before that we got Danny Welbeck, uhhhh yea I have nothing to add, we got Danny freaking Welbeck and offload from the new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.
yeaaaaa great pick Mr Arsene’Wenger.
With every Arsenal fan virtually demanding “WE NEED A STRIKER“, alas it seems to have fallen on deaf ears from the manager and the board. The chants of we need a stronger defensive and defensive midfield general, sadly have also gone on deaf ears. Personally I would love nothing more than Arsenal to poach Watford F.C’s striker Odion Ighalo. The 6’2 160lbs Nigerian is a wrecking crew of strength in the box, determined and hungry, often times unstoppable by defensive players. Would Watford F.C let him go, probably not without a fight, but Arsenal are a big boys clubs with the cash to spend so Mr Wenger take him.
If the rumors are to be truly believed, the Arsenal will be signing a player this January in the transfer window by the name of Mohamed Elneny, who’s now playing his football in the Swiss Super League for FC Basel.
Never seen him play, not familiar with him, but lets hope if he does come to Arsenal he improves the squad and not be another injury prone dead fish. And lets all hope he’s not the only signing for the best club in the world ARSENAL this January transfer window 2016
