Arsenal march on in the FA Cup
Another game another victory for the mighty Gunners, as Arsenal march on in the FA Cup with a nicely fought fourth round victory against Burnley FC. Was the match up a brilliant display by the cup holders? Nope not really. Did Arsenal once again show vulnerability at the back? Sigh ooooh Yes. But this time the team was not punished for it, but that equalizing goal after they opened the scoring did have a few understandable worried. Few highlights in the match, the mini Chilean Magician Alexis Sanchez worked his magical feet to create the first goal which was masterfully guided home by the defender Calum Chambers. It’s always a moment to snicker when a defender scores, Gibbs has been taking more shots on goal some games than the striker so I guess it’s only right Calum has a go, and what a beauty it was. Another highlight Francis Coquelin, the midfield beast is back from injury, not quite looking like his hard nose tackling self just yet, but I’m sure he’ll get back to that very soon and Mohamed Elneny after riding the pine for the last two matches since his move to the Emirates has his debut. If ever a player deserved to score on his debut it was Mohamed Elneny, he was lively and involved, looking like an asset to a great team so far. I was a little surprised to see Ospina in the squad, but he’s getting a salary might as well drop him in the occasional game to preserve Petr Cech for the long run in the league.
All in all a good day at work for the lads, 2-1 victory and we march on, all the way to the final, C’mon you gunners!!
