Luis Montes out of World Cup
Luis Montes out of World Cup
Weeks away from the highly anticipated start of the 2014 World Cup, Mexico’s Luis Montes out of World Cup with gruesome leg injury. Looking at the tackle, even in slow motion, it would initially seem that the Ecuadorian player, Segundo Castillo got the worst of the clash. But a dangling limb tells the true tale.
No lover of this sport, the absolutely beautiful game, will wish to see this type of injury on even his most hated team, even with traitor player. I would never as an Arsenal fan, wish to see any Tottenham FC players go down in such a horrible way. But injuries are part a parcel of this game. To break both fibula and tibia, months of recovery and rehab, lets hope with some oxygen therapy and deer antler supplements he can be back to form soon. I always wonder what goes through the minds of team mates have to carry on the game after seeing such an injury from a hard tackle. There has to be some type of apprehension to go in as hard again. I remember when I was younger, I gave someone a slide tackle, while resulted in them sitting on their arm and breaking it. weirdly enough he didn’t see or feel the break, till someone pointed out that his hand was now dangling. I don’t remember how that made me feel, i remember being pleased with the tackle. I think I did apologize. Weeks later I was knocked out cold playing goalie and taking a power shot to the face. Anyway speedy recover Montes
