I cannot wait to see this damn movie. As a huge Gozilla fan, definitely seen all the movies to date, the last “American” attempt was good, but at the same time kinda weak. This one seems dark with a vicious Godzilla. I just hope I’m not being duped by the damn trailer. A lot of that seems to be happening these days, trailer looks great, then you see all the commercials like the fiat commercial, you go to the cinema with all the pent-up excitement of a kid, then the movie leaves you feeling all empty. This is the sole reason I just wait till it gets to Directv.
But come next week, yea next week, I don’t go to the cinema opening weekend, too many people, I hate strangers sitting right next to me. There has to be a seat least between us on both sides, unless I am on a date, then two seats away from me and her, plus no one sitting in front of me!! And the perfect seats you ask, Second row from the back center!! No i don’t have ADHD or OCD, kill yourself, I just want to be comfortable when I am being extorted by the movie industry. I saw Avatar 8 times, great movie, but I remember it was only one time I was in the cinema and didn’t have people next to me, that is so gawd damn uncomfortable, especially when you have to arm rest wrestle.
Anyway I’ll be on deck to see this film and latest installment of the Godzilla films. I wonder if they will eventually remake some of the great old Godzilla films. In this age of great CGI, it should be a breeze to create tons of Godzilla enemies like that big ass moth, the singing twins. so many possibilities, but I guess the main theme of the new films will be the full-out wrecking crew that is the Godzilla beast.
